There are many off t
he rack costumes available at fancy dress stores now. We know that not many people want to turn up at the party to find 5 others in the same costume as them.
Many other shops will insist that costume sets can't be broken up or mixed with others. This is why you won't find fixed set costumes to hire at Masquerade. Sure, we stock the latest Leg Avenue and Rubies costumes to hire or buy, but we add little variations like petticoats, gorgeous shoes to match, gloves, styled wigs and props like canes, violin cases and for your next visit to Oz, a basket with Toto inside!
Our Resident Costumier creates unique costumes for all themes and sizes. When you hire at Masquerade You will have the opportunity to wear a hand made, one of a kind creation made right here in Melbourne!
Choice:
We like to adapt the costume to the wearer.
For example: If you want your gangster to wear a red, pink or polka dot tie, braces and hat band instead of white, then it's ok by us!
We understand that you have to be comfortable with your choice of costume at the party. If you already have the basics of a costume at home we can help with the extras like feather boas, swords, spats or a top hat. - You wont be pushed into getting a full costume if you dont need one.
Service:
You satisfaction is important to us. Our staff have wonderful suggestions and recommendations for themed costume parties. They are always coming up with fresh ways to adapt costumes to suit the climate or function.
If we don't have it, we will try to get it for you! This may even mean making one for you to hire!
